Where can you use our tactile warning labels?
These tactile warnings are required on all products containing hazardous ingredients. Products that are labeled as toxic, corrosive, harmful, extremely flammable or highly flammable according to the European standard EN272 (1989) or Directive 1999/45/EC must also be provided with a tactile warning sign according to ISO 11863. The tactile symbol that must be palpable here is an isosceles triangle or also three tactile dots arranged in the triangle. Such a tactile warning supplements your regular hazardous goods labeling and can be easily applied to the hazardous goods symbol as a transparent label made of PE film. Tactile hazard warnings are used, for example, in the food, pharmaceutical, cosmetics and animal feed sectors.
Braille labels and tactile product labels
We produce both Braille labels and tactile warnings using screen printing on PE films or PVC films. This is because in screen printing we can print elements in a raised position and therefore tactile or palpable. In this way, the warning notice can be easily felt by people with impaired vision or visual impairments.
